What to do if you have tested positive for COVID-19

If you test positive for COVID-19, the Epsom Medical Centre team will be here to support you.

  • If you or someone in your household has severe symptoms, call 111 immediately. Tell the operator that you or the unwell person has COVID-19.
  • If you test positive for COVID-19 and are eligible for antiviral medication, we can arrange a nurse phone consultation for you. After the nurse consultation, a doctor will review your file, including any pre-existing conditions and medication interactions. If appropriate, the doctor will arrange for a prescription for antiviral medication to be sent to your pharmacy. The cost of the nurse consultation, including the review of your file and prescription, is $50.00.
  • If you would like us to arrange the consultation for you, please email us info@epsommedicalcentre.co.nz with COVID Call in the subject line, and a member of the nursing team will contact you as soon as possible.
